Guitar, Bass and Ukulele Music Teacher

About Me

My name is Keith. I’m a guitar and ukulele teacher based in Wellington, Somerset.  I’m  a member of the Registry of Guitar Tutors, affiliated to the London College of Music, so whether you're a beginner looking to strum your first chords or an experienced player wanting to refine your skills, you've come to the right place.

I believe that music has the power to bring joy, inspire creativity, and build lifelong connections. As a dedicated guitar and ukulele teacher, I am here to guide you on your musical journey, helping you learn at your own pace. From learning the basics to mastering advanced techniques, I offer personalised lessons tailored to your unique needs and interests.  Whether you're interested in strumming your favourite songs, delving into music theory, or exploring different genres, I can help.

No matter your age or level of experience, it's never too late to pick up a guitar or ukulele and discover the joy of making music. So, why wait? Take the first step today and get in touch.

I’ve been playing guitar and bass for over 30 years and ukulele for 14, and in that time have performed and taught extensively.  I even owned and ran my own guitar shop for 8 years so I can help with choosing the right equipment to get you started or take your sound to the next level.

I’m an expert in music theory so can happily discuss the various voicings of chords, scale patterns and song structure - all with a view to understanding how music fits together to improve your understanding and playing.

My favourite styles to play are Blues, Rock and Country but I’m a firm believer that a good song is a good song and all styles and genres feature in my lessons where appropriate.  For example, with younger students, we often focus on pop as that is what they hear and identify with.

I live in Wellington with my family and am also fully DBS checked.
